The Client

 

Aon is the largest insurance broker in the world, with a head office in the US, and employs 45,000 people worldwide. AON in the UK employs 7,000 people in 60 regional offices.

 

AON Commercial Insurance is the largest division within London and is dedicated to maximizing risk prevention in businesses across all industry sectors which ensures insurance costs are kept to a minimum and in some cases savings can be made against insurance premiums.

 

The Marketing Plan

 

The marketing plan for Commercial Insurance focuses on communications’ activity that promotes the business plan by endorsing and encouraging the utilisation and development of marketing within the sales plan to help identify and open doors for the UK Sales Team (30). Aon’s marketing activity supports the positive and proactive creation of quality opportunities for the Sales teams to enable them to focus on and effectively develop suspects and prospects to generate profitable income.

 

Commercial Insurance Marketing Vision – To create a dynamic business that is recognised positively by clients, prospects, employees and markets as the most innovative provider of customised services in the UK insurance market.

 

The Project

• The main project was to take Aon’s data and make appointments across the UK for the Sales Team.

• There have also been, running in parallel, a number of targeted, sector specific campaigns – all with the aim of appointment setting.

• There have also been several ‘anonymous’ market-research campaigns undertaken so the results can be used for direct mail campaigns/national and local press releases to coincide with mailings.

• AON has partnered with The Telemarketing Company over the past 12 months

• Client programme based on 3 seats
