About SKS

Founded in 2007 and based in Twickenham, SKS Business Services provides a variety of bookkeeping and accountancy services to SMEs and listed companies. These range from straightforward bookkeeping and VAT returns, management accounting, budgeting, financial accounting and tax returns. 

Project background

SKS Business Services approached The Telemarketing Company in early 2008 to work in partnership to grow the company in the UK. The SKS offering is multi-faceted and encompasses a simple book-keeping and accounting offering for small SMEs, at up to 50% of the price they would expect to pay on the High Street.  SKS is very flexible, responsive, transparent and scalable and their learning curve when taking on a new client is not a huge one. For large and listed companies, SKS can take on the role of Financial Controller in the organisation and can provide among other things, management accounting and multi-currency consolidation.     

Project execution and results

In 2008, SKS was unknown in the UK and very quickly The Telemarketing Company was able to empirically demonstrate that the best results were being achieved through concentrating on the SME market, local to SKS’s Twickenham offices to grow the initial customer base.

However, through an open exchange of ideas and regular conference calls, meetings and insight delivered through call recordings over the past three years, the campaign has developed to the point where larger and listed companies pipeline has started to develop. SKS and The Telemarketing Company have a very positive working relationship, with The Telemarketing Company working as the marketing arm of SKS.
