The Client
Flybe has become a household name over the last few years as one of the biggest low cost airlines offering flights within the UK and Europe. In fact, Flybe was recently named Europe’s third largest low cost airline.
The company has always attracted a higher rate of business passengers than any other budget airline and Flybe decided to specifically target the corporate marketplace with an exclusive offering for the discerning business traveller.
The crux of this new offering is the website that will act as the interface for Flybe and its business customers. The website offers the traveller complete control over all business travel requirements without any agent intervention and is provided completely free of charge.
The Project
When the website launched, it immediately received a very positive response. However, Flybe wanted a targeted ‘registration’ project to speak to specific businesses about business travel provision.
Therefore, The Telemarketing Company was given a database of nearly 4,000 contacts with the objective of speaking to the ‘decision maker’ for business travel within the organisation and achieving a website registration for the Flybe2b.com services.
The Results The project was an overwhelming success with a 57% conversion rate for registrations from decision maker conversations.
