The Telemarketing Company is pleased to announce it has been granted a Consumer Credit Licence by the Financial Conduct Authority and is now authorised to carry out regulated consumer credit activities on behalf of clients.

The licence gives The Telemarketing Company permission to support clients offering a broad range of regulated consumer credit activities, including consumer hire (tool or car hire firms), lending and credit broking in support of the sale of goods or non-financial services, or even the activities of not-for-profit bodies providing debt counselling or information services.

Niall Habba, Managing Director commented:

“As an FCA Authorised business, we already provide a large amount of compliance driven work including B2B telemarketing, telesales and post sales TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) survey programmes for clients in the finance and insurance sectors.

The award of our Consumer Credit Licence provides further assurance to our portfolio of finance sector clients that we adhere fully with the UK regulatory framework. It also allows us to engage in B2C work, which requires a high degree of financial compliance.”
